Sophia has been on the go for several weeks now and recently conquered the stairs. Today was the perfect day to add some gates to Jonathan's "honey do" list. So besides touching up some scratched and scuffed walls around the house, mowing the lawn, cleaning up the patio, and fixing a drawer, he installed a gate at the top and bottom of the stairs. (He's so handy.) Now, our house is more like a prison with checkpoints every 15 feet, but at least it is safer for Sophia and that gives me peace of mind. It will be an adjustment for all of us, especially since Kaidence and Chase are stuggling to even open the gates. 
(Sophia is mischievious and cute....it runs in the family)

We spent most of our time at the horse shows with Alexa at the fair this year. It gave me flash backs! We took the kids on the rides on night, but your right, things are never the same:) I miss that awesome summer where we rode as many rides as we could and watched the rodeos from the best seats in the house. Our horses:)
She is so cute! Kids grow up way too fast.
Wow! I can't believe how good she is at crawling and climbing. Way to go Sophi!
