We sweated bullets in the 107 degree weather, but thank goodness we were at the pool so everyone who wanted to could cool off.
We had such a good time, right down to the Dinosaur Chicken Nuggets, french fries, and Dinosaur cake.
Perhaps the biggest event of the evening (or most memorable I should say) was when Chase, forgetting he didn't have floaties on, jumped into the pool after a toy and started to sink. It was the kind of thing a mother never wants to see. I'm so grateful to our friend Jared who quickly jumped in and saved him. After a moment of tears and frustration, our little Birthday Boy recoverd from the drama (it helped that we hadn't opened presents yet). He cheered up quickly and swam the rest of the evening (floaties ON of course).
Now, Chase spends a lot of time playing with his new dinosaurs and other fun gifts he received.
Chase is such an amazing, energetic, smart, loveable, handsome and wonderful son and
we love him to pieces.
We want to thank all our friends who came to celebrate with us, and all the family who called him on his special day.
Happy Birthday Chase!

That is an awesome Dinosaur cake Min. I'm so glad that Chase was ok and that he was able to have a great party!
The party was so much fun, and it was great to see you guys. The cake was amazing inside and out! Let's get together again soon :)
What a great dinosaur cake. I see I'm not the only one to have a child jump in the pool and start to sink lately. (It's no fun jumping in with all your clothes on.) Glad you had someone there who jumped in and saved him for you.
That Dino cake looks awesome! I bet Chase loved it! What a fun Dino themed party! Chase is 100 percent all boy, he seems to never lack for entertainment!
You girls and your birthday cakes are pretty tough to live up to! I have no hope for Toms:) Happy Birthday Chase! I love that his name matches his personality. We had that exact same experience with Collin this summer! Scarey!
