Here Comes the Sun

We have enjoyed having the company of family and friends these past two weeks. What a wonderful way to celebrate Spring. Jonathan spent the good part of last week in Washington D.C. where he participated in "D.O Day on the Hill." He had the opportunity to meet with the Wyoming Senator and Representive Cynthia Lumis and John Barasso. He attended several meetings, ate many lovely dinners, and saw some of the beautiful sights of our Nation's Capital with his sister Amanda. (Amanda is earning her PHD at the University of Maryland). So, while Jonathan was enjoying his vacation, I had my own plans, and that included a visit from Marci and Eloy and their kids. It was wonderful to spend a few days together and we enjoyed watching the kids play. The sunshine felt especially nice to the Mendozas and so we spent a couple of nice afternoons at the park. Ethan and his friend Rachael came this week for their spring break and we have loved having them. They are so good with the kids and it was fun to show them the sights of Vegas. We took them to the Bellagio and also convinced them to get tickets to see "KA". They had a good time. Sophia has been fighting off a cold but all in all, our Spring has been beautiful. Yesterday, we pulled out some popsicles and I enjoyed the smiles it brought to Kaidence and Chase. Happy Spring. :)
