Our little Sophia Cloe is 3 weeks old already. Hard to believe that yesterday was our official due-date. We are so blessed to have her here in our arms safe and sound. What a sweet gift she is. The kids love to cuddle and kiss her every chance they get, which is about every 5 minutes of the day. We are so excited to be spending the holidays in our beloved Wyoming and anxious for Jonathan to meet up with us after his finals. Markel accompanied me and the kids from Las Vegas to Utah and then Mom and Dad helped traveled along with us from Evanston to Home. I'm adjusting to 3 little ones and all I can do sometimes is just laugh at the little circus I'm in charge of. Markel put it rather bluntly and thoughtfully when she suggested that I don't go anywhere with them alone. :) Yes, that will be the real adventure for me. I took Kaidence and Chase to our local Kings Store to purchase some snowboots yesterday and it was all I could do to hang on to my little monkeys while we tried on different sizes of boots. Chase had pretty much rearranged the gloves and mitten isle and then commenced to run aimlessly through the store pulling at and pointing out every item he could find. When I did capture him, it was all I could do to keep him standing on his legs (you know that awkward way children have of hanging limplessly when they don't want to hold your hand). It was CHOAS to the extreme. In the checkout line we stood behind an old friend of my mothers. She didn't notice who I was and I thought better of introducing myself as Chase was throwing a little fit on the dirty floor beneath me. It was there that I vowed seriously to never attempt to bring him shopping until he is about 5 years old. :) I sheepishly apologized to the clerk as we left. She shrugged her shoulders, saying that it wasn't a problem, like she had nothing better to do with her time than rearrange the mitten isle. ...................
So that's what we've been up too, a little choas, a little fun, fresh Wyoming air, and a lot of love here from our families. We are sooo blessed! We miss our dear Jonathan and wish him the very best with his finals.
All our love,
Mindi, Kaidence, Chase, and Sophi

It's amazing trying to shop with all the kids in tow. It's definately a challenge, but so rewarding when you actually accomplish it. :) I understand the feeling of what chaos is.
Oh wow, you poor girl! Shopping can be a disaster. Lets get together Thurs. I head for Utah Friday. What time works for you? Tom does pre-school from 9:30-11:30 How about right after that?
Don't you just LOVE shopping with little ones in tow. I can handle ONE with me while I shop, so we do all our errands while Carter is at school. I'm not sure what we'll do when this next little guy arrives! I hope you have a wonderful time in Wyoming and good luck on your finals Jon!
Sophi is beautiful! Congratulations! We are trying the blog thing and will keep in touch! Happy holidays.
