Here's to my Man!

Happy Birthday to my love, Jonathan!
Some people know that I have this thing with birthdays. I just seem to be good at remembering.
From the most distant relationships, if you've told me your birthday, chances are I'll always remember and think of you on your day. Such was how it was growing up. When May 7th rolled around, I would think of Jonathan. I could kick myself now for not having called and said Happy Birthday to him on all those occasions. Little did I know that my classmate and friend would be my husband someday. So as good fortune would have it, I now get to celebrate with this wonderful man every year. I've decided that just when the magic of birthdays start to wane, our kids jump in and make it magical. Such it was with Kaidence and Chase this morning. They hugged and kissed Jonathan, put candles on his pancakes, held him in suspense for his big time gift (a pair of flip-flops) and sang Happy Birthday. I'm so glad that kids have that special magic.
As for Jonathan, he is working hard preparing for his last block finals of the year. What a feeling of relief and gratitude to have the first year almost behind us. I've got to hand it to Jonathan for keeping everything cool. He has had one terriffic and successful year. We know we have been very blessed. I'm so grateful for his life, his amazing family, our friendship, and most of all the love we share and the family we are raising together. Here's to 29 great years and another 100 to go. Can't imagine what life will bring us from here to there. Happy Birthday handsome!!!!
Love,
Me

Happy birthday Jonathan. Another year older, and another year wiser.

We hope you had a great birthday! Cute family picture! I remember when you came to visit us in Meridian, 2-3 years ago. And it was Rolo's birthday and you guys gave him those really cool monkeys (hear no evil, speak no evil) He put those monkeys in his office! It was nice to have you visit and celebrate with us, I can't believe how fast time flies!

You all look so happy :) Keep Smilin :)
