Family Time

We have discovered one of the secrets to happiness: WORK HARD and PLAY HARD!
It has been that kind of week for us. It has been wonderful!
Jonathan took some vacation days this week and finished the dining room project....pictures will be posted sometime soon....
The kids helped us do yard work. Kaidence and Chase proved there abilities to mow the lawn. Yeah! I'm so excited for summer. :) We cleaned the garage. Yeah for me.....it feels so good to be able to get rid of stuff and park without running anything over. :)
Then, off to St. Louis where we had a nice little getaway.  We stayed at a hotel and went swimming. Jonathan started a new tradition that the girls are going to love.....and took Kaidence to the American Girl Doll Store. Kaidence was so excited! She picked out the American Girl of the Year 2013 named Saige.  She is looking forward to her upcoming Amercian Girls Doll camp this summer where she will learn all about her. (Jonathan says he will take Sophia and Eden when they are 8 years old).

On Saturday we scratched our original plan to go to the Zoo because of the rainy weather and instead met up with "Auntie Kendra" at the City Museum. IT was fantastic! We had such a fun time together and there was so much to see and do. The kids were completely worn out by the end of the day when we said goodbye and headed for home.  We are grateful Kendra could make the drive over to see us as she is currently working in a camp in Missouri right now.

So much to look forward to as swimming season approaches.
It's a lot of kids, and swimsuits, goggles, floating devices, towels to keep track of...

Daddy's girl got spoiled today.  Check out those cute sunglasses!

Presenting Miss Kaidence and Saige 2013 American Girls. :)

Thank You Kendra! We had such a beautiful day with you!
