A lot can happen in 6 months, just ask Eden. :) She is growing and changing so much each day. We love her to pieces and can't imagine our family without her.
Kaidence told me the other day that she is so glad she has so many brothers and sisters. In fact, she has even noticed that some of her friends at school are jealous. I'm so glad Kaidence likes being the oldest. Those of you who are the oldest know that it is not an easy road to pave but I guess Heavenly Father knew which ones could take it. :)
Life at our house is always noisy, I'm sure that comes as no surprise to anyone. :) But one aspect of that noise is quite beautiful to me. The sounds of laughter, and especially singing. The children each have a special love for music and it is a privilege to nurture and watch their talents unfold.
Gymnastics has been the spotlight at our house lately since Chase started lessons the first of the year. He absolutely loves it and has decided it is "his thing". I admit, and without any prejudice at all :) He is pretty good. :) He thrives on the attention and the kids are great cheerleaders for him. Kaidence especially likes to play coach, but we have warned her not to give him too many dangerous lessons as it is really not "her thing". After a neck adjustment and lots of Ibuprofen, I realized that I need to take my own advice. I guess I'm not as flexible as I used to be AND there is a huge difference between a trampoline and a hard floor. It's all about bouncing back....right. :)
Well, we have had a few snow days here in the Great Mid-West. It is beautiful and fun to play in. The kids have had there fill, I think. There's nothing better than when school is cancelled and you get to sit next to a warm fire, read a book, play games, and drink hot chocolate. It has been great!

Mindi! Hi! How are you? I was just looking at Kelli's blog and saw the link to yours and thought I'd peek in at you and see where you guys were right now. We're in Kansas City and I see you're in the midwest somewhere, too, right? I hope all is going well with you! love,
