Kaidence's 8th Birthday

Guess what we did to celebrate Kaidence's Birthday?

We had a wonderful time. Grandpa and Grandma Nield came all the way from Wyoming, and Aunt Allison from Utah to celebrate with us. It was entertaining to watch everyone. Some of us were a little rusty at the sport and that made for a lot of laughs and some embarrassment. Grandpa was a good spectator and Grandma tried to show us how the professionals do it. :) The real Champion was Chase. Even though he practically fell down every time he threw the bowling ball, thanks to a little help from the bumpers, he landed a few strikes.

We all enjoyed some greasy food afterward and headed home for cake and ice-cream. It was the first year I have ever bought an ice-cream cake. Kaidence thought it was amazing. I'm pretty sure that after all the years of slaving away at her cakes she will probably remember the one we got at Dairy Queen. She was all smiles. It was a happy day! Now, our house rings with the sound of voices on her Karaoke Machine. She loves it!
