Kaidence and Chase had plenty of opportunities to dress up this past week in their Halloween Costumes. Kaidence chose to be a fairy (her favorite part was the wig I let her wear). She misses her long hair. We borrowed a tiger costume for Chase (so he didn't really have a choice, but didn't seem to care either way). Out of necessity, Sophia made a great little kitty cat, minus the ears---she just didn't want them on for very long.
It was the first year we carved pumpkins and I really enjoyed watching the kids go to town cleaning out their pumpkins. It was so fun to get all messy and smell that "pumpkin smell". They did a great job. Kaidence enjoyed making a mess, however; Chase couldn't wait to wash off.
With the help of a handy pumpkin carving kit, Jonathan masterfully
completed the design that Kaidence chose for her pumpkin.
I let Chase choose from a few simple patterns and was amazed with the result.
Kind-a creepy but cool with a candle burning behind it.
Much to Kaidence and Chase's disappointment, we only had
2 trick-or-treaters come to our house.

All the kids looked so cute in their costumes, i'm so glad you posted a blog! And I understand, i'm sure you are very busy taking care of three kids:) Love and miss you all!!
Thanks for the post and the pictures, it is amazing how much they have changed since I was there 4 months ago. I'll have to look into another trip!
Yeah you posted again! We have missed seeing pictures of your cute family, it looks like you had a nice halloween! I need to give you a call and chat, it has been to long :)
Ummmm, your blogging slacking has kept another Aunt of Kaidence, Chase and Sophie's in the dark!! Just teasing...it looks like everyone had a fun Halloween and I was quite pleased to see that you had to wear jackets during the night's activities! Tell Kaidence and Chase that less trick or treaters means more left over candy for them!!
I loved seeing the kids all dressed up. They are sure growing up, especially Sophia.
Love ya, Keep the posts coming!
Marci.
P.S. I didn't know Judi had a blog. Yea!
