It was a real treat to have Amanda come stay with us for a week. She came to relax and get away from the heat of Maryland (or humidity that is). We enjoyed spending time together and took a trip up to the Hoover Dam for a tour. Astounding is putting it lightly. I really had no idea how much blood, sweat, and tears went into that project and how much we benefit from it. The new bridge is truly a work of art and amazing to behold. Needless to say, we made it through the tour and celebrated at the end with one true "coming down like cats and dogs" rain storm. It was a refreshing way to start the 4 of July weekend.
Thanks Aunt Amanda for coming to see us, for treating us to a yummy Cafe Rio Dinner and for all your help with the kids.
We love you and look forward to your next visit. WE are counting down the chains you helped make for the kids. They make great decorations too!
Love,
Jonathan, Mindi, Kaidence, Chase, and Sophia

What a fun post. Aunts are the best! The dam tourn looks so fun. I had heard they are going to close it down. (?)
I'm glad you got to do some fun things. I love the paper chains too!
