Children really are the true authors of creativity.
Here's what we have been up too.
NEED A GOOD EXCUSE TO WASH YOUR WINDOWS?
On Saturday, I was still feeling a little bit drained from the flu and being somewhat the clean freak that I am, I wasn't too thrilled when Kaidence decided to paint the glass patio door with her water colors. Then....I surprised myself and the kids too, when I decided it wasn't too bad of an idea. So the kids painted, I wondered what I had started, and we finished it all off with a window cleaning lesson. I have to admit. We had fun, despite the mess.
HAVE YOU TRIED PAINTING HANDPRINT NAILS?
(Kaidence wanted to paint my nails today, and I compromised by letting her and Chase use my polish to paint their handprint nails).

And now...
Sophi has something to say...
note*When it comes to nail polish, princess dresses, shoes, accessories, and lip gloss, no one is discriminated against at our house, not even boys. Hense, Chase is very well rounded and welcomes the chance to play with dinosaurs and swords every chance he gets.

I love that Kaidence ends her story with "Amen". So cute!
Spencer is watching these with me and he thinks these kids have the nicest mom ever because they get to do something as cool as paint on the windows!
What a good idea to let them paint their fingerprints. My kids would love that. Maybe I'll let them try that tomorrow. We've been fighting bugs here too and I think Laurel may have to stay home from school tomorrow, so that would be a great activity to cheer her up. I hope you are feeling better.
Those are some cute ideas. I will definitely have to try those. I love the Amen!
Great ideas! Thanks for sharing! It will be nice when the all the winter bugs will be gone! We are looking foward to spring!
Your kids are so cute! i love reading about how you, Marci and Maren are all handling three kids. It gives me hope that it will all be O.K when the time comes for us!
Take care my friend :)
Amen! What fun you guys are having. Your smart to just go with the paint on the windows, what a fun mommy. Do you remember drawing on the fridge with shaving cream?
I loved that Teddy. I even thought about it the other day and then decided my children love cool whip so much, I'm sure they would probably end of eating the shaving cream. sooo, I think I'll wait on that one, or just use cool whip instead. Now, that's an idea. :)
Wish I was there being with you and the kids because I miss that so much. I just got the card from u guys and I love it!!! I just updated my blog so u can check it out when u get a free chance.
