To You....Love from me...

I'm going to try to get through this without crying. Wish me luck! How do I explain the love and the blessings I've been given? Some may assume this past week has been one big nighmare, accompanied by fears and unpleasant experiences, and while I must admit it has seemed a battlefield of uncertainty at times, I have been in the company of angels. In the midst of caus, I have felt peace. In the storms of loneliness and boredom I've made friends. My scope and gratitude for freedom and the breath of life itself is a greater testimony to me that we are indebted to a loving Heavenly Father whose grace and mercy are beyond comprehension. What greater gift than His Son, who not only came to save us, but willingly suffered our pains, our sorrows, our fears...because He knew that real comfort is found in the undeniable realization that someone already walked that road and is holding your hand. Empathy is a gift. I've always known how important it is to love. I never knew that my heart could love this much. I feel as though I get to "return to life" with more, zest , more appreciation, and with more passion and ability to make "the moments" memorable. because...they are fleeting. I hope that this hasn't been too mushy. I know life has it's difficult and trying moment. I admit I've cried more in the last few days than I have all year. I know that despite my "awakening" to blessings received, that gratitude is a work that human hearts must consciously conquer on a daily blessing. So to each of us I challenge a grateful heart. If you have child, hold him or her a little longer today, Open your window and welcome the rain, the snow,or the sunshine....whatever it may be. Forgive someone......and when you meet someone's gaze, really look into their eyes and thank Heavenly Father you have eyes to search for what really matters. It may seem trite, to make these suggestions, so I'll leave it be. Just know I love you and know that your prayers have helped me get through this journey. The baby is well. The nurses say they have never seen a more active baby in someone's tummy. (Maybe this one will have red hair) Boy or girl, I can hardly wait to see. Kaidence and Chase are being well cared for. I'm so grateful to my mother. It is hard to let somone take my place, but who better. Jonathan is making everyone husband look bad with his ability to paint toe-nails, give back rubs and just hold my hand. He's received a great hands on education on heart just being by my side. than he could otherwise experience at school. And.....thank heaven for friends and for nurses here. I've never met more dedicated, harder workers than the nurses here. It is dangerous to start naming people, so I'm going to wrap this up. You know who you are and how very much love you! Love, From me....

Mindi,

It's good to see a post from you. My kids and our family have been including you in all our prayers and we continue to do so. I cannot imagine how difficult and trying this must be for you. Don't over do it! That's something I'm having to tell myself a lot lately too.

Love you!
