Sewing 101

My most recent "finished" projects. I just had to post this.
1) I can't believe I actually did it
2)My Mom will be so proud of me and
3) Jonathan is just amazed at my domestic future. Maybe someday I'll even make curtains. :)
I have so much to learn, but that is the joy of sewing. I'm officially "well experienced" at using
my seam ripper and threading my machine correctly now. Maybe after a few years of this I won't be learning the hard way.
The quilt is for my friend's baby boy coming in October and the pillow, for a friend that just got married.

Good job.
P.S. I found out that Rachel Neibaur is expecting in February. You two have always been pregnant together!!!

So Cute Mindi! I love the pillow with the writing, that is adorable!

Those peaches look so good!! I am hoping to go to our church orchard next week and pick some peaches. YUMMY! I am glad that you are O.k, that would hurt so bad! Good thing for your hubby ;)

And that is exciting news about Rachel! You all have the cutest kids!!

I've just started to sew this summer and I'm having so much fun with it! I never thought I'd be so domestic but we now all have jammies I made and curtains in most of the rooms in the house, its been fun! I love that you are posting your projects for us to see!
