Voices of Truth

Maybe you're like me and the TV has been on a lot lately as you tune into the latest news or check political polls on the internet or listen to news anchors debate the issues that face our country today. I find myself on edge, nervous, and most often riding the waves of uncertainty. Well, this morning I turned off the TV and thoughtfully counted my blessings to realize that we are not lost. Truth is Truth. And God is the same yesterday today and forever. His Truths do not change with time or circumstances. The creator of us All is indeed part of our lives. He watches over us! He loves us with the tender love of a parent. He knows are needs. He understands are challenges and with great mercy He talks to us and will guide us through the storms of life. I know He speaks to us today through a prophet. Just as he did in times of old. From the Old Testament in the Bible we read in Amos 3:7 "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." It's wonderful to know that we don't have to wonder, speculate or even doubt that the Lord will fulfill his promises. We just need to LISTEN and HEED the Counsel we receive. This is my Blog so I can say what I feel in my heart. I testify that we have a prophet upon the earth today. His name is Thomas S. Monson. If you have any doubts, or questions that need answers.
