Do you remember when you learned to ride a bike?
It's one of those monumental rites of passage that spells FREEDOM for kids.
Kaidence took her first ride without training wheels a couple of weeks ago.
We took her to the church parking lot for her first lesson to ensure safety and plenty of open space to practice. It was amazing to watch her hop on and just take off. I think she was just as surprised as we were. Jonathan chased her around and was there to catch her when she needed some assistance. After a few crashes and unexpected run ins with the curb, she rode around like a pro.
Sophi is also trying something new and that is learning to swim. She had her first two lessons this week and she is doing fantastic. She loves the water and is a good sport.
